A note from Principal Joe Conkle

Greetings Wildcats!

Thanks to the incredibly hard work of our WPS staff and your patient support during the last few weeks, we are excited to launch our Remote Learning plan tomorrow Wednesday, April 22.

While all of us will still need to learn and make adjustments as we go, we believe our plan will provide a beneficial educational experience for every student. We’ve created a grade-appropriate blend of online learning (ex. Google Classroom) andoffline learning (bi-weekly hard copy packets.)  And we will continue to accommodate the needs of our learners as we communicate with parents.

Our FIRST PICK-TIME for the hard-copy learning packets is this WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22. Just come to our school meals pick-up location. The time is 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. If you can’t make it then, we will make sure packets are delivered afterward.

Also, in ever-changing times like these, it’s important we strengthen our ability to communicate directly with you and other family members. If you have not done so already, please complete our “Stay in the Loop” contact info form.  Here is the link: https://walkervillewildcats.com/stay-in-the-loop/

There is a great deal of information on our website, so I hope you will take the time to visit it.  www.WalkervilleWildcats.com

As always, it’s an honor to be your school principal.

Please know that every teacher and staff member are doing their best to provide the best possible learning opportunities to every WPS student despite our unique and difficult circumstances.

Please email or call us if you have questions or ideas.

Have a great day and don’t forget “There is no Cat like a Wildcat!”

Thank you!

Mr. Joe Conkle, principal
