  • May 16, 2022 – 7:00 p.m. There will be a special meeting of the board of Ed for a Work Session at 6:00 p.m.  
  • June 27, 2022 –  7:00 p.m. 
  • July 18, 2022  – 7:00 p.m.
  • August 15, 2022 – 7:00 p.m. 
  • September 19, 2022 – 7:00 p.m. 
  • October 17, 2022 – 7:00 p.m.
  • November 21, 2022 – 7:00 p.m.
  • December 12, 2022 – 7:00 p.m. 
  • January 16, 2023 – 7:00 p.m. 

Office hours are 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.The central office for the Board of Education of Walkerville Public Schools is located at 145 E. Lathrop Street, Walkerville, Michigan.

All meetings of the Board of Education are held in room 13.

Minutes for all meetings of the Board of Education are available for public review at the central office of the Board of Education five business days following the meeting at which the minutes were approved.

  • Notice of any special meeting of the Board of Education is posted in accordance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act at the central office of the Board of Education no less than eighteen hours prior to the special meeting.
  • Persons needing special assistance to attend a meeting of the Board of Education are asked to contact the Board of Education Office at (231) 873-4850 no later than 4p.m. three business days prior to the meeting that person wishes to attend.

School board packets containing nominating petitions and affidavit of identity forms will be available at the schools district office or they can be picked up at the county clerk’s office.  
 
The filing deadline is July 26, 2022 by 4:00 p.m. at the Oceana County Clerk’s Office.
 
Election date is November 8, 2022. Term of office begins January 1, 2023.
