Mandy Achterhof’s 5th Grade class attended the West Michigan Old Engine Club‘s education day in Scottville toward the end of September. 5th graders from schools representing our entire region got to learn and experience how everyday tasks used to be done “back in the day.” They discovered how people used to wash and dry clothes, cook, bake, fix tools, build houses, grow and market food, and much more!
