Walkerville Public Schools is pleased to welcome Dr. Scott Karaptian as our Interim Superintendent.

Known as “Dr. K.,” he brings valuable experience and a strong familiarity with Oceana County, having previously served as Superintendent of Pentwater Public Schools before retiring two years ago.

Dr. K. will help provide steady, experienced leadership during this transition while the Board of Education continues the process of interviewing and selecting Walkerville’s next superintendent.

We’re grateful to have Dr. K. stepping in to support our students, staff, families, and community during this important time.
